The Schiller School in Argentina — more formally the Instituto Schiller — is a German-language private institution with roots in the immigrant communities that established dozens of ethnic schools across the Río de la Plata region in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. This internal scrip, denominated in "Ottos," is a modern pedagogical currency, almost certainly used within a school economics or civics program. Naming the unit after Friedrich Schiller himself is a neat gesture toward the institution's cultural identity.

No central banking authority backs it. Collectible purely as ephemera of alternative currency education.
