Obverse description Allegorical female figure of Concordia seated facing right in the central field, draped and crowned, holding a staff or sceptre in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, symbolising civic harmony and republican prosperity. A decorative architectural element or tablet appears at lower right. The mint initials M·B appear in the lower field beneath the figure. The surrounding legend reads CONCORDIA CIVIVM·FELICITAS REIPVBL, separated by the mint mark, running along the milled border.
