Reverse description The reverse displays a facing crowned bust or head in the central field, executed in a schematic, Gothic manner typical of Gotlandic municipal coinage of the 1360s. The figure wears a beaded or jewelled crown and is rendered with minimal anatomical detail, consistent with the crude die-cutting conventions of the period. A beaded inner circle frames the central device, while the peripheral legend MONETA · CIVITATIS, denoting the civic coinage of the city, is inscribed in uncial Latin script around the circumference. The flan is irregular and the strike uneven, with portions of the legend weakly impressed.

(Translation: Coinage of the city.)
