| Obverse description | Full-length frontal effigy of King Gustav Vasa, crowned and mantled, standing within a partial inner circle. The king raises a sword in his right hand and holds a royal orb in his left; a small shield bearing the Vasa arms appears between his feet. The figure is rendered in the flat, linear style characteristic of early sixteenth-century Swedish hammered coinage. A Latin legend in uncial script runs in the outer field, interrupted by the inner circle border. |
