Obverse description Central field features the Vasa dynasty wheat sheaf, the dynastic symbol of the House of Vasa, flanked on either side by the letters 'C' and 'R', all enclosed within an inner beaded or linear circle. An outer legend in Latin surrounds the design, concluding with the denomination expressed as the numeral '1' followed by 'ÖR'. The overall composition is characteristic of early seventeenth-century Swedish hammered billon coinage, with the heraldic charge centrally placed within a circular frame.
