Obverse description Crowned coat of arms of Austria-Burgundy, quartered into four fields with a lion displayed at centre, all set within the field. The crowned shield is rendered in a style typical of hammered Low Countries coinage of the late sixteenth century. The circular legend surrounds the arms and reads in Latin, identifying the issuing sovereign.
