| Obverse description | Standing armored knight facing forward in full plate armor, holding a sword upright in the right hand and a shield or banner in the left, with the date 1619 divided on either side of the figure in the field. The knight's stance is bold and frontal, typical of the Dutch ducat type adapted by Italian feudal mints. A beaded inner border frames the design, with the Latin legend CONCORDIA RES PARVAE CRESCUNT (meaning 'Through concord, small things grow') running around the periphery. |
