Obverse description The Peruvian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a shield divided into three sections bearing a vicuña, a cinchona tree, and a cornucopia, flanked by palm and laurel branches tied with a ribbon at the base. A small mint mark appears below the shield. The denomination UN NUEVO SOL is inscribed in large letters across the lower portion of the field, with the date 2013 below. The circular legend BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA DEL PERÚ arcs around the upper periphery, and the fineness inscription PLATA .925 appears along the lower border.
