| Reverse description | A large radiant rose at centre, its petals rendered in fine hammered relief, enclosed within a circular arrangement of alternating four crowned fleurs-de-lis and four crowned lions passant gardant, all set within a beaded inner circle. The overall composition is characteristic of the reverse design of the English Noble, here adapted for the Lordship of Megen. The surrounding field is filled with the continuous religious legend in Gothic uncial script, separated by pellet stops. |
