Reverse description A voided short cross potent superimposed upon a cross fleurée occupies the central field, with pellets flanking the top and bottom lis terminals. In each of the four angles, a crowned lion passant is set above a trefoil, arranged within an elaborate geometric framework. A quatrefoil appears in the second quarter, and at the very centre of the design, a pellet and the letter Һ (a Lombardic H) are enclosed within a quadrilobe. The entire composition is contained within a polylobe border, with trefoils filling the spandrels between the lobes. The circumferential legend in Latin, drawn from Luke 4:30, reads: IHC AVT TRANSIENS PER MEDIVM ILLORVM IBAT.
