| Reverse description | The reverse features a corner-angle view of a characteristic Bauhaus-style building from Tel Aviv's White City, rendered in fine detail with clean horizontal lines and a curved balcony typical of International Style architecture. To the left of the building, the UNESCO World Heritage Site emblem is prominently displayed. The trilingual legend 'WHITE CITY OF TEL AVIV / העיר הלבנה של תל אביב / المدينة البيضاء تل أبيب' runs along the border of the coin in English, Hebrew, and Arabic respectively. |

Issued to mark Tel Aviv's centennial, commemorating the 1906 founding of Ahuzat Bayit — the neighborhood association whose land lottery on the sand dunes north of Jaffa became the nucleus of the city. The centenary series drew unusual attention because Tel Aviv's own founding mythology had long been tied to that lottery photograph, making the 2006 commemorative cycle something of a civic corrective to decades of compressed, simplified origin stories.
