Reverse description The reverse presents a detailed naturalistic depiction of a white stork (Ciconia ciconia) standing on one leg in a shallow pool of water, with reeds and foliage rendered in the background. To the right of the central motif, a Hebrew inscription reads 'חסידה ברושים ביתה' ('As for the stork, the fir-trees are her house'), attributed to Psalms 104:17. The corresponding English inscription curves along the upper right border. The Hebrew calendar year התשנ'ט and the Gregorian year 1998 appear in the field, along with the Royal Dutch Mint mintmark.
