Additional information

Issued to commemorate the Abraham Accords — the 2020 normalization agreements between Israel, the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco brokered under the Trump administration — this coin represents one of the more politically charged commemorative programs the Bank of Israel has undertaken in recent years. The accords were the first Arab-Israeli normalization agreements since Jordan's peace treaty in 1994.
