Reverse description The reverse of this cast bronze cash coin features a central square hole flanked by Chinese characters in regular script. The character 開 (Kae), denoting the Kaesong mint, appears at the top above the square hole, while a series numeral in Chinese characters is positioned at the bottom or side, identifying the emission series. The field is otherwise plain, bounded by a raised inner rim around the perforation and a rounded outer rim, consistent with standard Joseon mun coinage typology.
