Reverse description The reverse is divided into four quadrants around the central square hole, following conventional Joseon cash-coin layout. The mint department mark 户 (Ho), identifying the Treasury Department (Hojo), appears at the top. A series number rendered in Chinese numeral characters is placed at the bottom, indicating the specific casting series within the Ho mint bureau; for Series 5, the character 五 appears in that position. A small circle appears to the left of the hole and a dot to the right, serving as additional mint identification marks. All characters and symbols are contained within a plain raised outer rim.
