Obverse description	Printed in black with red stamp impressions throughout; the note is oriented vertically in the traditional Japanese format. An oval red seal script cartouche appears at the upper portion, with a hexagonal red seal script cartouche at the centre. Vertical column inscriptions in classical Chinese characters run the length of the note, recording the denomination, reign era (Kyōhō 15, corresponding to 1730), and the issuing authority of the Awa-Awaji silver bill.
