| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a bold multi-line Arabic calligraphic inscription in the Naskh style, naming the ruler Taimur Shah Durrani and invoking religious formulae. The legend is arranged in stacked horizontal registers across the flan, with decorative dotted border elements visible along the coin's irregular periphery. The striking is characteristic of hand-hammered Durrani coinage, resulting in a slightly uneven but deeply impressed design. A fine inner dotted border partially frames the central inscription. |
