| Reverse description | Hammered gold reverse displaying a bold Persian-script legend in multiple registers, enclosed within curved lines forming a cartouche typical of Durrani-era mohurs. The central field presents the primary inscription in large Nasta'liq characters occupying the principal register, with supplementary legends in the upper and lower segments. Pellet ornaments decorate the margins and interstices between lines. The overall calligraphic arrangement follows the standard typology of Herat-mint issues of Mahmud Shah, with the regnal year and mint name recorded within the composition. |
