Obverse description Central field features the zodiacal sign of Pisces, depicted as two large, naturalistically rendered fish arranged in opposite directions within a plain inner circle, their scaled bodies and fins rendered with fine detail characteristic of Mughal court artistry. The fish are shown swimming in opposite orientations, referencing Emperor Jahangir's birth sign. The central motif is enclosed within a beaded inner border, surrounded by a broad band of serrated or zigzag decorative ornament, itself framed by an outer beaded border. No inscriptions appear on this face; the design relies entirely on the bold pictorial device of the paired fish.
