Obverse description Central circular field bears the royal name and Saka Era date (SE 1676) inscribed in Devanagari script within a multi-petalled lotus border. A sun symbol appears at the left and a crescent moon at the right flanking the central legend. The entire design is executed in the traditional Nepalese hammered style, with radiating foliate and floral motifs filling the field between the inner circle and the beaded outer rim. The inscription reads 'Sri Sri Prithvi Narayan Shah Deva' with the regnal date below.

Reverse description The reverse displays a multi-tiered lotus medallion at center, surrounded by radiating petal and foliate ornamental panels in the classic Nepalese mohar format. Devanagari inscriptions naming the goddess Bhabani and the deity Gorakhanath are distributed within the decorative bands encircling the central motif. The overall composition is characteristic of the Shah dynasty coinage, with dense interlocking floral and geometric patterns extending to the beaded rim.
