| Obverse description | Central field features a stylized sword or trident motif flanked by Nepalese script legends arranged within a square or cruciform frame. The central device is surrounded by a decorative floral and geometric border composed of alternating petal-shaped lobes and interlocking scrollwork, typical of Malla-period Nepalese coinage. Dot clusters accent the inner border. The overall design reflects the ornate artistic tradition of the Kathmandu Valley kingdoms, with Devanagari inscriptions occupying each quadrant of the central panel. |
