| Reverse description | Central field filled with the Shi'a kalima rendered in bold Nasta'liq calligraphy arranged across three horizontal registers: the shahada affirming the unity of God and the prophethood of Muhammad, followed by the designation of Ali as the Wali of God. The flowing script fills the flan to its edges and is contained within a raised inner circle, itself surrounded by a border of large circular pellets consistent with the obverse design, reflecting the standard late Safavid religious iconographic program. |
