| Obverse description | Central field bears four large Chinese characters arranged in a quadrant reading '壹錢銀圓' (one qian silver coin), flanked above by '光緒' (Guangxu) and to the right by '喀什' (Kashgar). All legends are rendered in bold relief within a plain field, surrounded by a beaded border running along the full circumference of the coin. The inscription collectively identifies the issuing emperor, denomination, and mint city in the conventional Qing provincial coinage style. |
