| Obverse description | Bipartite shield bearing the quartered arms of Pyrmont and Reckheim, displayed at center within a beaded inner circle. The escutcheon is rendered in a late-medieval heraldic style characteristic of hammered Low Countries coinage. A circular legend in uncial Latin letters surrounds the central device, reading the lord's name. The overall composition is typical of minor feudal coinage of the early sixteenth-century Meuse-Rhine region. |
