Obverse description Central field bears a single impressed Nāgarī character 'Mā' (मा), boldly rendered in relief against a plain, unadorned field. The legend occupies the majority of the flan, exhibiting the characteristic angular strokes of early Nāgarī script. The irregular flan edges reflect the hand-struck hammered production technique typical of medieval South Asian coinage. The surface shows natural die-struck texture consistent with silver punch-marked or die-struck issues of the period.
