Obverse description The Finnish coat of arms depicted as a crowned rampant lion passant to the left, grasping a sword in its right forepaw and trampling a scimitar beneath its hind paws, set against a field strewn with nine heraldic roses. The date is divided on either side of the lion, with '19' to the lower left and the remaining digits to the lower right. The mint engraver's initial 'S' appears at the bottom of the field, just below the lion. A plain inner border is surrounded by a beaded outer border.
