Obverse description Armored and draped bust of Sigismund III Vasa facing right, wearing a ruffled collar and a royal crown. The last two digits of the date (94) appear in the left field beside the king's bust. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, identifying the king by name and title. The portrait is rendered in the late Renaissance style typical of Swedish royal coinage of the 1590s.
