Obverse description Dark-toned letterpress Notgeld note with the title inscription 'Gutschein f. Herzlake (Hann.)' in large Gothic script across a decorative arched header. The central vignette, set within a heart-shaped cartouche, presents a landscape etching of rolling hills and the Aseburg, accompanied by a verse in German script above. Denomination numerals '1' in bold Gothic type flank both sides within ornate floral panel borders, with the validity date 'Gültig vom 1. Oktober 1921' and issuer monogram 'k.k.V.' at foot, above the printer imprint 'Franz Lammersdorf, Haselünne'.
