| Obverse description | The upper register bears the denomination 'Mark' in large Gothic blackletter script set against a dense curvilinear guilloche underprint in olive-brown. The central panel carries a multi-line text in calligraphic Kurrent script stating the note's validity and redeemability by the Stadtkasse in Überlingen, dated 19 October 1918, with a facsimile mayoral signature at lower right. The lower register contains an oval panel with a red official city stamp bearing an eagle, flanked by guilloche ornament, and a red serial number with asterisk at centre. |
