Obverse description Central vignette in brown and blue tones illustrates two monkeys flanking a decorative geometric column set against a dark background. The issuer's name 'Gemeinde Kneitlingen' is inscribed in white script across the upper blue banner, with the denomination 'Mark 1' repeated in large white calligraphic lettering on both left and right sides. A red serial number appears at upper right, a circular municipality seal is impressed at lower centre, and the issuance date, expiry date, and facsimile signature of the Gemeindevorsteher are printed along the lower margin; the borders are formed by a bold black and white zigzag frame. Artist credits 'GÜNTHER' and 'CLAUSEN' and the series designation 'Serie 2t' appear below the main design.

Reverse description The entire reverse is occupied by a colourful expressionist vignette in red, brown, green, and black, illustrating a scene from the Till Eulenspiegel legend in which mourners and a priest gather around an upright coffin and gravestone at a churchyard wall. Three grotesque figures — a woman in red at left, a robed cleric at centre-rear, and a jester-like figure at right — are rendered in a bold woodcut-inspired style. The gravestone bears a legible inscription in German, and a caption in white Gothic script runs the full width of the lower margin. Artist credits 'GÜNTHER' and 'CLAUSEN' appear at the lower left and right respectively.
Reverse lettering Wie Eulenspiegel im Grabe zum Stehen kam.
Diesen Stein soll niemand erheben / Hie hat Eulenspiegel begaben
