| Obverse description | Multicolour letterpress design in black, orange, red and blue on cream paper. A central circular vignette carries the heraldic arms of Osnabrück — a cartouche bearing two spoked wheels, supported by two wild men — set against an orange dotted guilloche underprint. The denomination numeral "1" appears in large bold type within serrated roundels at left and right, while a circular legend in Fraktur script runs around the vignette. The printer's credit "Druck: Gebrüder Jänecke, Hannover" is printed in small italic type below the design, and the monogram "Fr. L." appears at lower right. |
