| Obverse description | Five overlapping triangular AIG (Associazione Italiana Alberghi per la Gioventù) monogram emblems arranged in a pyramidal composition occupy the central field, progressively increasing in size toward the foreground. The numeral '1' appears prominently at the lower center, with the inscription 'MARENGO' immediately below it.
