Obverse description Central field displays Arabic legend in two lines separated by a horizontal bar, with the ruler's name and title inscribed in flowing Naskh script. The inscription reads the name of Orhan within a plain linear border. A dotted inner border encircles the central inscription panel, characteristic of Anatolian beylik copper coinage of the early fifteenth century. The flan is irregular, as typical of hammered copper issues of this period.
