| Reverse description | The reverse carries a two-line Arabic inscription centered within a plain, unbordered field, recording the mint name Saraybosna (Sarajevo) on the upper line and the regnal year on the lower, conforming to the standard layout of Ottoman mangir reverses of the late seventeenth century. The lettering is struck in relief with the angular, compressed calligraphic style characteristic of provincial Balkan mint production. The flan edges are markedly irregular, consistent with hand-cut copper planchets of the period. No ornamental devices, pellets, or marginal borders are present. |
