Reverse description A finely detailed imperial Chinese dragon occupies the central field, depicted facing forward in a coiling posture with scales rendered in high relief, claws outstretched, and a flaming pearl visible above its head. The dragon is surrounded by stylized clouds and flame motifs typical of late Qing coinage design. Two raised dots flank the lower field, separating the legend. The circumferential Latin legend reads '29TH YEAR OF KUANG HSÜ' along the upper arc and 'HU POO' along the lower arc, separated by the dots. A continuous toothed (dentilated) border frames the entire reverse design.
