Obverse description A lingam depicted in relief at center, representing the phallus as a sacred fertility symbol and cosmic world pillar of Hindu iconography. The design is rendered in a bold, highly stylized manner consistent with Javanese hammered gold coinage of the period. The surrounding field is plain, with no inscriptions or additional decorative elements. The irregular flan shape and variable strike are characteristic of the artisanal production methods employed during the Jenggala period.
