Reverse description A plain pattée cross with slightly splayed arms fills the central field, surrounded by a circular legend in Latin uncial characters. The cross is boldly struck, with the arms extending nearly to the inner border. The flan shows the characteristic irregularity of hand-hammered medieval small silver, with some weakness at the periphery.
