Obverse description Central device comprising a heraldic shield bearing a plain cross, the whole surmounted by a crested helmet with flanking mantling rendered in the Gothic style typical of Livonian Order coinage. The shield and its ornamental surround occupy the majority of the flan, with a partial circular legend in uncial Latin characters running along the periphery. The hammered fabric results in an irregular flan with weakly struck margins. The style is consistent with late-medieval Baltic ecclesiastical-military minting practice.
Obverse script Latin (uncial)
Obverse lettering MAGISTRI ·
(Translation: Magistri Master)
