Reverse description The reverse repeats the obverse type, featuring the crossed sword and key of the bishopric centrally placed within the field, encircled by a Gothic uncial Latin legend. The design is characteristic of the bracteate-influenced coinage tradition of the Livonian ecclesiastical mints, with both faces sharing near-identical iconography. The flan is irregularly shaped and shows the typical surface texture of a hand-hammered medieval silver piece. Strike quality and centering are variable.
