| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in brown, pink, and green tones on a fine guilloche underprint, with an elaborate foliate border framing the entire design. The Imperial Ottoman tughra appears in a dark oval cartouche at the top centre, flanked by mirrored serial number panels reading 'No' on each side. At left, a circular medallion bears the denomination numeral '1' with the circular legend 'BANQUE IMPERIALE OTTOMANE / LIVRE TURQUE', while a corresponding square vignette at right carries the Arabic numeral '١'.
