| Obverse description | Central vignette of the Corinthian columns of the Temple of Bacchus at Baalbek positioned to the left, set within an elaborate guilloche border with floral underprint in green and yellow tones. A circular medallion at upper centre carries the denomination numeral, flanked by the bilingual bank title in French and Arabic script. The date "Damas 1er Septembre 1939" is inscribed in the lower centre field, with two manuscript signatures below and the serial number repeated twice in black. |
