Obverse description The obverse features a large numeral '1' in the centre of a dotted inner circle, with a small round hole pierced through the field to the right of the digit. The legend 'VOLLMILCH' arcs across the upper portion and 'LITER' across the lower portion, separated by small six-pointed star devices on each side. This zinc milk token was issued to represent one litre of full-cream milk.
