| Obverse description | Allegorical seated figure of Italia facing left, draped, holding a small winged Victory statuette in her lowered left hand and an extended olive branch in her right hand. The figure is flanked by the divided legend ITALIA, with the date inscribed below in the exergue. The engravers' signatures G. ROMAGNOLI and A. MOTTI INC. appear to the right of the supporting pillar. The composition reflects the neoclassical artistic style prevalent in Italian coinage of the early twentieth century. |
