She holds a book of the Gospels (inscribed EVANGELIUM) in her left hand and a pair of balanced scales in her raised right hand. The word IVSTITIA is split across the lower field to either side of the figure's base, with the denomination L. 1 inscribed in the exergue below. The engravers' signatures MISTRUZZI and P.G.INC. appear on the plinth. The circular legend STATO·DELLA·CITTA·DEL·VATICANO runs along the upper periphery. |
