Obverse description Facing bust of Pope Paul VI wearing the papal tiara (triregnum), rendered in low relief with fine engraving detail. The effigy occupies the lower central field, with the pontifical inscription divided on either side: PAVLVS VI P.M. to the left and ANNO VII MCMLXIX to the right, both in Latin capitals. The design reflects the formal portrait tradition of Vatican coinage, with the tiara's ornate scrollwork prominently displayed above the papal visage.
