Obverse description Central field depicts the State coat of arms of San Marino: the three towers of Guaita, Cesta, and Montale atop Mount Titano, surmounted by a crown, held aloft by a stylized rocky outcrop. Flanking the towers are sprigs of olive on the left and oak on the right. The word LIBERTAS appears on a scroll at the base of the design, and the engraver's name BIANCINI is inscribed in small characters above it. The legend REPUBBLICA DI S. MARINO curves along the upper periphery in Latin characters.
