| Reverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, Saint Andrew is depicted crucified upon a saltire cross, rendered in frontal view with his arms outstretched and bound to the diagonal arms of the cross, his nimbed head bowed slightly. To either side of the saint, in the angles of the saltire, appear crowned fleur-de-lis, serving as heraldic supporters flanking the central martyrdom scene. The circumscription in uncial Gothic lettering reads XPC REGNAT XPC VINCIT XPC IMPERAT, divided around the outer legend between the beaded border and the rim. |
