| Obverse description | At center, an oval crowned shield bearing the arms of Luxembourg, elaborately adorned with rocaille and foliate decorative motifs in the Baroque style. The shield is surrounded by a circular Latin legend naming the full titles of the ruler, with the date of issue appearing at the end of the inscription. The coin is bordered by a continuous dentilated or beaded rim. |
