Reverse description The quartered royal arms of James I displayed on a large shield surmounted by a Tudor crown, the quarters bearing the arms of England (three passant guardant lions), Scotland (a rampant lion within a double tressure), France (three fleurs-de-lis), and Ireland (a harp). The shield is set within a plain cross extending to the inner beaded circle, with a mint mark at the top of the cross. The Biblical motto legend encircles the design between two beaded borders.
