Reverse description The reverse presents the principal pictorial design of the coin, featuring a celestial scene in the upper portion with the sun and moon depicted beneath stylised clouds rendered in low relief. The lower portion of the field portrays three mountains or peaks rising above a conventionalised sea, with the trees of longevity — likely pine or lingzhi — depicted upon the slopes, alluding to Daoist symbolism of immortality and imperial virtue. The central square hole is framed by a raised square boss, mirroring the obverse construction. The overall composition is rendered in a flat, incuse-cast style consistent with Vietnamese imperial gold coinage of the Nguyễn dynasty.
